Why Gentle Parenting Doesn’t Work With Real Kids | Erin Kunkle
Today’s parents are in desperate need of wisdom when it comes to the discipline of their kids. The Gentle Parenting movement has gained tremendous popularity, as it offers advice on discipline that often sounds good on the surface but when examined carefully, is unbiblical and ineffective. In this talk, Erin will expose the false assumptions of Gentle Parenting and offer practical discipline strategies that are both biblical and helpful.

STUDENT TRACK

Vintage Faith | Moshe Santillan
Trends come and go, but the best things are built to last. That’s why vintage records sound better, retro sneakers never go out of style, and classic games still get played. The same is true for faith. For generations, Christians have passed down core truths that have stood the test of time—truths captured in the great creeds of the faith. In this session, Moshe invites students to rediscover the richness of these creeds and see how knowing them not only preserves truth, but also protects us from error in an age where truth is constantly redefined. Trends fade, but truth remains. Will you hold onto the faith that has stood the test of time?
APOLOGETICS TRACK

The Gospel as Apologetic | Neil Shenvi
Most Christians assume we should employ apologetics to show that Christianity is true before we call people to repent and believe the gospel. But is that correct? What if the gospel itself—the central message of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection—is an argument for the truth of Christianity? In this talk, Neil will show how the gospel functions as an apologetic. Moreover, you’ll discover that the "Argument from the Gospel" is something all Christians already implicitly recognize, even if they've never heard of traditional apologetic arguments.
CULTURE TRACK

The Dominant Strongholds of Our Culture | Eric Hernandez
There are three dominant strongholds (i.e. worldviews) that permeate our culture and hinder people from coming to a salvific knowledge of God. In this session, you will learn what they are, how to identify them, and how to respond accordingly.
THEOLOGY TRACK

Resurrecting a Theology of Art | Thaddeus Williams
"Created" is the first verb…in the first sentence…on the first page of the Bible. God is wonderfully creative and He made us in His image to contribute to the net beauty of the universe. How can we best mirror God, the Supreme Artist, in our creative lives and perhaps even witness a 21st century renaissance of Christian art? What does the Bible teach about the role of the imagination and beauty-making in Christian discipleship? How do we communicate God’s truth in compelling ways through our artistic endeavors? In this talk, Thaddeus shows how creativity and Christlikeness go hand in hand.

Raising Gender-Confident Kids—Helping Kids Embrace God's Design | Erin Kunkle

In addition, you’ll discover practical steps to help kids love and embrace their God-given gender.

Dealing With Doubt | Eric Hernandez
Not every Christian doubts…only the ones who take their faith seriously doubt. So if you’ve ever struggled with doubt, be encouraged! But how do we work through our doubts? Should we doubt our doubts? In this session, you’ll gain a greater understanding of doubt, how to wrestle with it as a believer and how to help those around you who may be doubting their Christian faith.
APOLOGETICS TRACK

Truth-Seeking as Evidence for God | Neil Shenvi
Atheists often position themselves as champions of reason, logic, science and truth-seeking. But why think that truth-seeking is good or morally obligatory in the first place? In this talk, Neil will show that, if atheism is true, we have no obligation to seek out and know the truth and thus, the atheist actually undermines the importance of reason, logic, and science. In contrast, if the Christian God exists, then truth-seeking is good and morally obligatory, which provides a powerful argument for the truth of Christianity.

Walking In Unity—Biblical Answers to Questions on Race and Racism | Krista Bontrager
