She has authored six books including Screens and Teens, 8 Great Smarts and Start with the Heart. Dr. Kathy earned a Ph.D. in reading and educational psychology from Purdue University.

He is the author of Life's Biggest Questions: What the Bible Says About the Things That Matter Most and Godly Jealously: A Theology Of Intolerant Love. Erik and his wife Donna have four children: Caroline, Paige, Samuel, and Isaac.
