Join us for the C.S. Lewis Symposium, a morning devoted to exploring how one of the twentieth century's most beloved Christian thinkers can help us reason more clearly, love more rightly, and imagine more faithfully. Renowned Lewis scholar Dr. Jerry Root will guide us through three talks exploring Lewis's insight into truth, goodness, and beauty.

Jerry Root
Dr. Jerry Root is professor emeritus at Wheaton College and a visiting professor at Biola University, Talbot School of Theology, and Moody Bible Institute. A C. S. Lewis scholar for over 50 years, he has lectured on Lewis at 78 universities in 18 countries. Jerry is the author or co-author of The Quotable C. S. Lewis and The Soul of C. S. Lewis (with Wayne Martindale), C. S. Lewis and a Problem of Evil, The Surprising Imagination of C. S. Lewis (with Mark Neal), The C. S. Lewis Bible (with Douglas Gresham), The Sacrament of Evangelism (with Stan Guthrie), Naked and Unashamed (with Claudia Root and Jeremy Rios), and most recently Splendour in the Dark. He and his wife Claudia have 4 children and 15 grandchildren.
