Sean McDowell

Sean McDowell is a professor of Apologetics at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University. He has earned two Master's degrees in philosophy and theology and his Ph.D. in Apologetics and Worldview Studies. He is the author, editor, or co-author of more than 20 books including More Than A Carpenter, Chasing LoveEnd the Stalemate, and The Fate of the Apostles. He is the co-host of the Think Biblically podcast and has one of the top apologetics YouTube channels. And he is on the teaching team at his home church in southern California.

Katy Faust

Katy Faust is Founder and President of Them Before Us. She publishes and speaks widely on why marriage and family are matters of justice for children. Her articles have appeared in Newsweek, USA Today, The Federalist, WORLD Magazine, the Washington Examiner, and the American Conservative. She is on the advisory board for the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship. Katy is co-author of the book Raising Conservative Kids in a Woke City. She and her husband are raising their four children in Seattle.

Douglas Axe

Douglas Axe is the Maxwell Professor of Molecular Biology at Biola University, founding Director of Biologic Institute, and Editor of BIO-Complexity. He is also the author of Undeniable—How Biology Confirms Our Intuition That Life Is Designed. After earning his Ph.D. at Caltech, Axe conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge and the Cambridge Medical Research Council Centre. His work focuses on the constraints on protein evolution and has been published in leading journals like the Journal of Molecular Biology and Nature, and featured in books such as Signature in the Cell and Darwin’s Doubt.

Brett Kunkle

Brett is the founder and president of MAVEN. He has more than 25 years of experience working with students and adults. He is a teaching fellow for the Impact 360 Institute and co-pastors Imago Dei Church. Brett was an associate editor for the Apologetics Study Bible for Students and co-authored A Practical Guide to Culture—Helping the Next Generation Navigate Today’s World and A Students Guide to Culture. Brett lives with his wife and five kids in Southern California.

Erin Kunkle

Erin Kunkle is the co-founder of MAVEN. She is a speaker and co-host of the MAVEN Parent podcast. Erin has spoken to parents, mom’s groups, homeschooling groups, students and at women’s retreats across the country. Erin received her bachelor’s degree in social science with an emphasis in political science from Biola University. She is also a veteran homeschooling mom and has been married to her husband, Brett, for 27 years. They have five children and three grandchildren and live in Southern California.

Micah Kunkle

Micah Kunkle is a filmmaker, content creator, debate coach, and speaker. He serves as the Media Director for MAVEN and is the founder of MK Creative, a videography, photography, and social media marketing company based in Orange County, California. Micah is active on his personal social platforms creating worldview-focused content and engaging cultural issues through debate and commentary. He has participated in YouTube Jubilee debates—debating abortion, economics, and other political topics in front of millions of viewers—bringing a calm, evidence-minded approach to high-stakes conversations. He lives in Southern California with his wife, Margaret.

Derick Zeulner

Derick Zeulner is the associate pastor overseeing communications and discipleship at South Shores Church in Dana Point, CA. A graduate of Biola University, Derick earned his M.A. in Theology at Talbot and is currently working on his Doctor of Ministry degree. He and his wife, Rebecca, have four children. Outside the church, Derick is an assistant coach for a local water polo club and is enjoying watching each of his own kids surpass him in speed and skills.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife of 21 years and their three teenage children.

Greg Burt is a communications, media, and government policy specialist with more than 30 years of experience in public relations, marketing, journalism, public affairs, grassroots activism, and legislative advocacy, including roles as an award-winning investigative reporter, a Congressional office manager in Colorado, a constituent advocate in Orange County for a California Senator, and a state capitol press secretary for a California Assembly member. He now serves as Vice President of the California Family Council, monitoring the state legislature on issues of religious liberty, parental rights, the value of human life from conception to natural death, and the biblical definition of family and gender.

He is the author of six books including Confronting Injustice Without Compromising the Truth and Don't Follow Your Heart. He resides in Orange County, CA with his wife and four kids.
