Raising Emotionally Resilient Students in an Anxious World
Benji Baker | Monarch Room
All indicators point to a dramatic decline in the mental health of our young people. The rates of stress, anxiety, depression and suicide are at all-time highs. What in the world is going on and how do we help our children and students? In this talk, Benji will equip you with practical tools to help your kids follow Jesus while navigating a culture filled with anxiety, worry and fear.

STUDENT TRACK
A Student’s Guide to Culture
Brett Kunkle | Youth Room
Our culture’s growing hostility to Christianity puts tremendous pressure on the faith of young Christians, who swim daily in the cultural waters. And because many of our students are unprepared, they often struggle to resist the cultural lies...or, they deconstruct. As a result, many professing Christian kids live lives that are no different from their non-Christian friends. This talk will give students an understanding of how culture powerfully shapes them and how a well-formed Christian worldview will equip them to navigate the avalanche of cultural challenges.

APOLOGETICS TRACK
Engaging the LGBTQ Conversation—Compassion & Clarity
Sean McDowell | Worship Center
How do we love our LGBTQ friends? What does the Bible say about homosexual behavior and identity? One thing we know for sure is that God loves gay people, but how do we also navigate this topic without compromising biblical truth? In this session, Sean offers a biblically informed, yet gracious approach to this contentious issue to help us respond with both clarity and compassion.

CULTURE TRACK
How the Redefinition of Marriage and Family is Destroying Our Culture
Katy Faust | Ocean Room
Our culture is filled with lies about marriage and family. From divorce to same-sex marriage and parenting, from surrogacy to a host of other issues, our culture is filled with false ideas that are wreaking havoc on the next generation. How have we sacrificed the natural rights of children? How has legislation made mothers and fathers optional? How have we made kids a commodity? In this talk, you’ll discover why marriage matters more than ever and how we can begin to rebuild families that our children need.

THEOLOGY TRACK
The Multifaceted Gospel
Derick Zeulner | Kid’s Room
The gospel is at the very center of the life and mission of the church. Yet, in recent decades, in an effort to define and defend the gospel, a "flattening" has occurred. Today's gospel often ends at "Jesus died on the cross to forgive my sins," stopping short of the fuller, broader picture the New Testament gives us. Our preachers, our songwriters, our evangelists, our people…we need more gospel, not less. This talk will explore the multifaceted beauty of the gospel—all that God has accomplished for us in Jesus Christ, so that we can appreciate it better, and communicate it better to a culture who desperately needs it.

POLITICS TRACK
Threats to Religious Liberty at the Capitol…and How We Respond
Greg Burt | Multi-Purpose Room
The California Family Council will examine the most pressing threats to Christians' ability to live out their faith and preach the gospel emerging from the State Capitol. This includes gender ideology mandates, laws undermining parental rights, bans on Christian counseling, as well as hostility to people and organizations with prolife convictions. Most importantly, attendees will be equipped with a hopeful, faithful framework for Christian engagement that strengthens the Church, influences the Capitol, and renews our culture without fear or compromise.
BREAKOUT #2

PARENT TRACK
It’s Time to Talk to Your Kids About Porn
Greta Eskridge | Monarch Room
Raising kids in the digital age comes with many challenges, but one of the biggest challenges currently facing parents is how to navigate the prevalence and accessibility of pornography. Parents desperately want to protect their kids from being exposed to porn, but what happens when they can't? How do they connect with their kids and navigate those tough conversations? This talk will equip parents to have age-appropriate, honest, and hope-filled conversations about pornography with kids of any age so that you can help your children develop lifelong sexual integrity.

STUDENT TRACK
A Beginner’s Guide to Logic, Fallacies, and Clear Arguments
Micah Kunkle | Youth Room
In a world of hot takes, viral clips, and “gotcha” arguments, clear thinking is hard to find. In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn what an argument is, core tenants of logic, and how to spot common fallacies that show up in social media, politics, apologetics, and debates—so you can respond with clarity instead of chaos.

APOLOGETICS TRACK
Scientific Evidence for God
Douglas Axe | Worship Center
If Darwin got it right, life is the product of blind processes in ruthless competition. Nothing joyful there. On the other hand, if the Bible has it right, then life is the heart of God on display. In this talk, you’ll discover simple but powerful ways to see that Darwin got it wrong. By examining specific examples from biology, Douglas Axe shows how the evidence reveals the creative expression of a Divine storyteller who delights in the same things we do—the furthest thing from the cold combative world that Darwin imagined.

CULTURE TRACK
How Sex Matters—Understanding the Differences Between Male and Female and Why it is Good
Erin Kunkle | Multi-Purpose Room
We often, and rightly, critique modern gender ideology. But can we also articulate a positive vision of male and female and explain the unique differences between men and women? Oftentimes, Christians reduce this conversation to the roles we play and fail to properly explore the depth of God’s unique makeup of the different sexes. This talk will lay out a true and biblical picture of masculinity and femininity and show the beauty of God’s design.

THEOLOGY TRACK
Loving God the Way Jesus Did
Thaddeus Williams | Kid’s Room
What, or rather WHO, is the true root we must tap into so that we’re able to stand against the lies and inhumanity of our age? It’s Jesus. But what does it look like to root ourselves in Him and cultivate the mind of Christ? This talk will help you connect discipleship and cultural engagement to loving God with our minds the way Jesus did, so that we can help our families and churches stand for truth.

POLITICS TRACK
Should Christians Be Involved in Politics?
Katy Faust | Ocean Room
Many Christians avoid politics. Church leaders regularly chastise their people for being “too political.” But can we and should we avoid it? And if not, how do we navigate through the maze? Politics has become so expansive, covering a multitude of issues: sexuality, legislation, justice, identity politics, immigration, voting, healthcare, marriage, children, education and more. This session will give you a biblical view of our responsibility to engage politically and practical ways to do so.
